What are the benefits when I return to Vietnam
from study in Australia?

Join a 5,800-strong network of Australia Awards Alumni in Vietnam including many prominent academics, business and community leaders, and government officials and enjoy the professional and social benefits of this network and the support provided by the Australian Government.

You will also benefit from the Australia Global Alumni Engagement Strategy established by the Australian Government to reach out to and incorporate all international graduates of Australian education institutions. Through this Strategy opportunities will be provided for professional development, shared research and strengthened business connections. The Strategy will celebrate alumni achievements and grow a global community that continues a deep connection with Australia. A key to this strategy is the establishment of an Australia Global Alumni LinkedIn page and a Global Australian Alumni database to which all international alumni of Australian education institutions can have access.

You will also be included in the Australia Alumni in Vietnam Strategy 2016-2021 developed by the Australian Embassy to implement the Global Strategy in Vietnam. The Vietnam strategy aims to engage all Vietnamese who have studied at Australian education institutions, wherever they are located and whatever the funding source for their studies. The Australia Awards Alumni network is part of this extended network of Vietnamese alumni and also the broader Global Alumni network.

The Australia Awards Alumni network in Vietnam is organised on an informal basis with elected core groups in Hanoi, Hue, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City. These core groups undertake local activities and work closely with alumni support program of Aus4Skills (as know as the Vietnam-Australia Human Resource Development Partnership).
