Through this Strategy opportunities will be provided for professional development, shared research and strengthened business connections. The Strategy will celebrate alumni achievements and grow a global community that continues a deep connection with Australia. A key to this strategy is the establishment of an Australia Global Alumni LinkedIn page and a Global Australian Alumni database to which all international alumni of Australian education institutions can have access. Scholarship promotion

Assist the promotion of the Australia Awards in your place of employment and within your professional and social networks.

Alumni are often the best ambassadors for Australia Awards Scholarships and can be invaluable in promoting the scholarships.

As an alumnus you can help spread information about the scholarships in various ways:

  • inform your family, friends and work colleagues
  • disseminate scholarship information through your professional network
  • distribute pamphlets and posters in your work place and other relevant locations
  • speak at information sessions where these are organised by the Aus4Skills staff

We may also approach you to submit some written comments on how you may have benefited from the scholarship in your work or broader life experience. These comments could be placed in our promotion material and on our website.

We have completed a 23-minute television video, a two-minute promotional video featuring the stories of selected alumni, and have compiled 15 ‘Success Story’ videos of successful alumni.
