The Australian Alumni Grants Fund (AAGF) managed by Aus4Skills provides funding for successful proposals from Vietnamese alumni of Australian education to consolidate their professional knowledge and skills; contribute to organisational change in selected Vietnamese government, private sector, civil organisations and other partners; and strengthen linkages between Australia and Vietnam.
Since 2017, the AAGF has provided over A$2.2 million in funding to projects led by 460 alumni, addressing issues such as governance and economic growth, infrastructure, sanitation, education, gender equality, agriculture, regional stability, disability inclusion, climate change, and health.
Grants are issued on a competitive basis. Two AAGF rounds are scheduled for 2023, with the following dates:
The maximum duration for a project is 12 months and the maximum grant depends on the number of alumni leading the project.
